第24屆APEC經濟領袖會議(Economic Leaders’ Meeting)於11月19至20日在秘魯利瑪召開，會議貫徹今年APEC主題「優質成長與人力發展」，其持續圍繞：促進區域經濟整合及優質成長(Advancing Regional Economic Integration and Quality Growth)、強化區域糧食市場(Enhancing the Regional Food Market)、邁向亞太微中小型企業現代化(Towards the Modernization of MSMEs in the Asia-Pacific)、發展人力資本(Developing Human Capital)等四大優先領域作為討論主軸；預期各經濟體仍將關注區域內經濟整合的可行性，並透過對話和協商，推動全球價值鏈發展與合作策略、提升環境的永續性(Sustainability)、強化跨境教育並降低人力資本之落差。
