台灣勞動市場的追蹤研究---生育事件對家庭勞動供給之影響

本研究計畫之主要目的為利用總計畫所建立之長期追蹤調查資料庫,針對勞動供給行為中較具動態性的課題進行實證研究。本年度計畫首先檢討第一年度計畫之執行結果,確定以1953年至1957年出生之人口為調查對象,並將調查問卷內容設計成以工作為主軸,來發展包括「職業與健康」、「工作史與所得」、及「勞動」三大主題之調查問卷。根據重新規劃修改後之調查問卷,本研究再次就大台北地區進行100名樣本之預試,此次預試結果的初步統計分析顯示,調查資料之基本統計特徵大致和吾人之預期相似。此次預試之主要目的是為正式調查之規劃提供更多的參考資料,根據預試之結果,吾人對有關正式調查之主要準備工作如抽樣工作、訪員招募與訓練、調查資料之整理等方面的改善方向,均得到更進一步的認知。此外,配合調查對象與問卷內容之調整,本計畫之分析重點修正為:針對所有樣本,進行勞動力狀態選擇行為之實證探討。針對女性樣本,進行婦女生育對其日後參與勞動市場傾向影響力之實證探討。因此,本研究最後即針對此二項分析重點分別說明其研究背景及目的。;The purpose of this project is to study the most dynamic issues in Taiwan's labor market based on the panel data set constructed under the joint project. Following the results from the first-year research period, the first task of this year is to ascertain the focus group of the survey to be those who were born in the years of 1953-1957. We also modify the survey questionnaire accordingly. Then the pre-test based on the modified questionnaire is conducted. The basic results for this pre-test is consistent with what we expected. Based on the results from this pre-test, we have recognized that some improvement needed to be done regarding the preparation for the formal survey such as sampling design, interviewers' training, and the data cleaning procedure. Given these changes, the research topics are also modified. For the total sample, we will empirically investigate the major determinants of the labor force status for the middle ages. For the female sample, we will study the influence of the labor market experience during their child-rearing period on their future labor force participation tendency. So the final section of this study provides some discussion about the research background in these two areas.
